Project Goal
The NameExoWorlds contest, organised by the IAU, was a historic event. The public around the world voted on the shortlist of names for the ExoWorlds — 20 planetary systems comprising 15 stars and 32 exoplanets. The vote decided the names for the selected stars and exoplanets.

How to Achieve
An robust voting platform is developed in order to the tackle the high demand of the voting. Anti-spamming and anti-robots measure are implemented. The system is built on a scalable cloud platform. It can stand for the extreme large number of concurrent vote at peak loading time.
Over 630,000 votes received from 187 countries.
